This jersey shows some decent wear. The front body has an assortment of lighter black marks, as well as two sew repairs in the hem area. Both sleeves display marks and damage, with significant repairs in the elbow/mid sleeve areas. There a couple of smaller reddish spots next to the rear number that could be post paint. The MeiGray registration tag is sewn inside the rear hem area, and the jersey is accompanied by the MGG/team LOA.

Erik Johnson

Erik Johnson was born March 21, 1988 in Bloomington, Minnesota. The first overall selection of the St. Louis Blues in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Johnson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

After leading the Minnesota Golden Gophers to the WCHA Final Five Championships in 2006-07, Johnson made the leap into the NHL in 2007-08 with the St. Louis Blues. As a member of the Blues, Johnson appeared in 69 regular season games and ranked eleventh among all NHL rookies with 33 points. He also represented his club in the 2008 NHL YoungStars Game in Atlanta.

On the international stage, Johnson has represented his homeland at the both the World Junior Championships, and the World Hockey Championships.

Erik missed entire 2008-09 season recovering from a knee injury suffered on September 16, 2008 at a St. Louis Blues golf tournament.

In 2009-10, Erik would be back on the ice and solidify himself as a cornerstone on the Blues blueline, providing uncompromising two-way play. For his efforts he was selected to be part of the US Olympic team that brought home the silver medal in a thrilling overtime final at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.

On February 19, 2011, Johnson's time in St. Louis would come to an end. He was traded to the Colorado Avalanche along with Jay McClement in exchange for Chris Stewart and Kevin Shattenkirk.

Drafted by St. Louis Blues - round 1 #1 overall 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Missed 2008-09 due to off-ice knee injury, September 16, 2008. Traded to Colorado by St. Louis with Jay McClement and St. Louis' 1st round choice (Duncan Siemens) in 2011 Entry Draft for Kevin Shattenkirk, Chris Stewart and Colorado's 2nd round choice (Ty Rattie) in 2011 Entry Draft, February 18, 2011.
