2001-2002 Seventh Season
CCM/KOHO Airknit. Set 1. Neck tagging 54.

The jersey is from the first team set, and contains the Avalanche set tag sewn in the rear hem, which reads set "I-1", indicating the first set, with one jersey only issued to the player. The neck tag displays a small "2" written in black sharpie by the trainer, and it is unkown at this time what that number designates. The jersey shows good overall game wear. Light black marks are visible throughout the body, with a few darker marks in the lower arms. The crest shows some scuffs, as well as a nice dark mark just above the crest. The jersey is accompanied by the Avalanche LOA.

Steven Reinprecht

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Steve Reinprecht starred with the St. Albert Saints of the AJHL before attending the University of Wisconsin for four years.

In 1999-00 he led the WCHA with 66 points in 37 games, was named to the conference second all-star team and signed with the Los Angeles Kings as a free agent. In 2000-01 he was enjoying a fine rookie year with 12 goals in 59 games when he was sent to the Colorado Avalanche with Rob Blake for Adam Deadmarsh and a package of prospects and draft choices. Reinprecht fit in well on his new club and was a solid contributor to the club's Stanley Cup championship run.

Coming off an injury plagued season in 2001-02 which saw Reinprecht notch 46 points in only 67 games, the Edmonton, AB native established at the time a career high 53 points in 2002-03 before being shipped to the Calgary Flames in the summer of 2003.

Upon his arrival with Calgary, Reinprecht was limited to a mere 44 games and was unavailble for the club's run to the 2004 Stanley Cup final.

On the international stage, Reinprecht helped his homeland capture gold at the 2003 World Championships.
